Job placement with BTSC's Associated Companies

Training is only part of what is required to become a qualified plumber as the City & Guilds NVQ assessments need to be carried out in the workplace. To date, every Level 3 qualifying BTSC trainee has been placed in a job.

Most Colleges do not have formal job placement programmes despite a job in plumbing being essential for the Workplace Assessments required for the NVQ parts of the City & Guilds Qualified Plumber certification.

With BTSC it is very different as its sister company UK Careers has a full-time, dedicated Placement Team placing trainees in jobs at over 100 of its associated plumbing and construction companies that are waiting for trainees to qualify at each Centre. Every trainee that qualifies at City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 is guaranteed a job and although not guaranteed at the lesser Technical Certificate Level 3, job finding assistance is available around this level.

BTSC has a 100% placement record having placed every single trainee that has opted for job finding assistance. The job guarantee and job finding assistance are explained in writing in an Agreement with UK Careers on registering for training.
