How to apply for plumber training at the Building Trade Skills Centres

You need to attend an interview to enable us to assess your suitability for training and for you to find out more about the training.

If you have not already been for an interview and wish to apply for training you should firstly ring your nearest Building Trade Skills Centre on 020 8391 3055 (London) or 0161 787 3535 (Manchester) between 9am and 7pm Monday to Friday or 9am to 1pm Saturdays and arrange an interview which will be followed by an aptitude test. Alternatively you can complete and send the details below and we will either contact you or send you a brochure - just indicate which you prefer.

Plumbing experience is not required but trainees need to be practical, capable of completing the training and have a reasonable understanding of written and spoken English.

If you pass the interview and aptitude test and are selected for training, a contribution towards the indirectly subsidised training is required, the details of which are fully explained at the interview. A decision on selection for training is usually made within two days of the interview.
